A natural diamond is a re-arrangement of carbon atoms –a solid form of carbon with a diamond cubic crystal structure under high pressure and temperature, carbon-containing fluids dissolved minerals and replaced them with diamonds and give diamonds with the highest hardness of any material.
Most of diamonds are clear, but some of them have colors, like yellow, red, blue, green and pink. Diamonds of a different color are called “fancies”.
As only 20% of natural diamonds are fit for jewellery (the other 80% are not pretty enough) and with the high demand of using diamonds for jewellery, scientists studied and created diamonds which called synthetic diamonds, created diamond, simulated diamonds…etc

Tips to protect your gold plated jewellery:
To protect our jewellery with gold plating worn away and keep the gold or rose gold colour last longer we need to keep our gold plated jewellery away from hard surfaces and heat. Any little crash or smash/ scratches will cause the gold layer to be fade away faster, so if we do physical work please take them off and store them in a cotton or velvet lined jewellery box, or wrap them in a soft material to prevent scratches.
I have read someone used nail polish liquid to coat her gold plated ring to protect the gold layer to keep it fade away, she shared this idea and I think it’s a good idea too.
If your gold plated jewellery products are dirty, put them into lightly warm water with a few drops of dishwashing liquid then while hold your ring in fingers gently shake it in this water a few times then rinse it with clean water then let it dried itself, don’t wipe your gold-plated jewellery with anything such as polishing clothes…etc. This will help to eliminate any dirt or dust from accumulating on the surface and wearing away the gold layer as well as keep stones look clean and new.
You can also take your gold-plated jewelry to your local jeweller where they can replace the gold layer. This may be necessary if the gold-plating has already started to wear off to give you the color that you love. However no matter what color plating is, our products finally remained as real 925 silver.
